Typically NPs and their duties were to assist the MDs with notes, orders, pre-op workflows, follow In the NICU as well as follow up clinic. They also could back the nurse coordinators up with intakes and work. We now have a Fetal Fellow each year and they have taken on these roles (other than the nursing work) and also assist in surgery.
